JOB PURPOSE:
The Channel Marketing Manager will participate in the strategic development, planning, coordination, and execution of the channel marketing pricing and promotional programs for the Division to achieve short and long term sales objectives while meeting corporate and divisional profit objectives.
Develop winning marketing programs and promotions for the professional contractor channel distributors and end user customers.
Develop and manage distribution policy and procedures.
Help develop merchandising and POP materials to be used at distributor locations and by sales teams at in market selling events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES Plan, coordinate and execute channel marketing strategies Create and manage distributor communications Manage distributor pricing policy and associated terms Create programs and promotions to support CED professional channel partners and products in a highly competitive and dynamic marketplace Work closely with sales management and product marketing teams to maximize sales opportunities Gather data and analyze competitive programs and pricing and execute on growth opportunities Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction on complex matters Work independently and receives minimal guidance on other assignments Provide guidance and training to support staff POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field.
Experience:
5-8 years of successful experience in a directly related field or successful demonstration of knowledge in marketing, sales or related experience.
Experience in establishing strategic pricing and promotional programs Experience in the professional paint store distribution channels is a plus Skills/Abilities/Competencies:
Excellent oral, interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
Evidence of effective problem-solving and decision making skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels both within and outside of Graco.
Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and implement strategic pricing and promotional programs.
High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other related programs.
Demonstrated ability to supervise, provide work direction, motivate, recognize and deal with performance related activities.
