The JET Reporting Analyst collects, analyzes, and compiles information for our organization to make informed business decisions.
To this end, this individual will obtain pertinent data from all relevant departments, compile and clean this information, and then proceed to analyze the data.
In this role, you will work with other data professionals and communicate with upper management to coordinate data implementation projects.
Essential Functions:
Designs, tests, and implements complex reporting needs to drive established business objectives.
Gathers raw data from pertinent individuals with respect to various departments.
Assists team in interpreting data, handling ambiguity and complexity in reporting requests, and working collaboratively to adjust based on team needs.
Checking and cleaning data, taking special care to replace erroneous values with correct figures.
Analyzing data, with due consideration for the influence of missing information, outliers, plus confounding and extraneous variables.
Reporting on insights obtained, which might be utilized to inform business strategies.
Trains and encourages staff to maintain complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis.
Collates such data to facilitate its interpretation.
Supports the development, interpretation, and management of data sources.
Consults areas of uncertainty to promote optimal use of ideas derived from data.
Creates and updates data sets that evolve in tandem with our business's needs.
Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and all related information necessary for effective management.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Attends training as directed by GNE.
Qualifications and
Experience:
Required:
Proven experience with JET Analytics/Reports.
Proficiency in creating, deploying, and managing OLAP cubes using Jet Data Manager.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
A minimum of 5
years of experience in management information systems, finance, reporting, statistics, or a related field.
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
Strong analytical skills for developing data-driven reports.
Robust SQL skills for efficient data querying, transformation, and optimization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics systems, including data structures and business logic.
Exceptional skills in data cleansing and transformation for data accuracy and consistency.
Profound knowledge of data integration best practices.
Competence in database design and normalization principles.
Proven experience in creating data-driven insights that drive profitability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective data communication.
Strong troubleshooting and report writing abilities.
Attentive and considerate team player.
Intermediate knowledge and skills in MS Office products - Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience researching demographics.
Preferred:
Strongly preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft PowerBI.
Knowledge of and/or experience with budgeting and financial statements.
Experience presenting data and metrics.
Experience with two-step distribution/dealer networks.
