Vehicle Description This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 Holiday Coupe is a quintessential 4-4-2, with a 4 barrel, 4 speed manual transmission, and dual exhaust! When the 4-4-2 initially debuted in the middle of 1964, it was considered an option package for the F-85 Cutlass and consisted of 4 - single 4 barrel carburetor, 4 - 4 speed manual transmission, and 2 - dual exhaust, along with a few other performance upgrades.
By the time 1968 rolled around, the muscle car era was in full effect and the 442 with its brand new look became its own standalone model within the Oldsmobile marque.
In 1969, Olds kept the changes to its 442 to a minimum.
Gone were the vent windows, and the ignition was relocated from the dash to the steering column.
Powering this Olds 442 is a 400 Cubic Inch V8 paired with a single 4 barrel carburetor underneath a W-32 special dual intake air cleaner with induction hoses.
