In 1959, the Ford Motor Company completely redesigned the majority of its product offerings.
The new-look '59 Fords were understated, compared to the other Big Three American manufacturers, yet the Fords were classy and elegant.
In fact, the 1959 Fords won the Gold Medal for Exceptional Styling at the Brussels World Fair and were deemed one of the most beautiful Fords ever built.
At the nose, the '59 Fords featured flatter-looking hoods, new grilles and flatter front fenders housing a pair of dual headlights on each side.
Styling down the sides were also revised with more refined trim than the previous years along with increased body lines.
At the rear, the new-look '59 Fords' rear fenders were changed and incorporated molded back-up lights and a new taillight design.
