For Sale: 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS in Rogers, Minnesota for sale in Rogers, MN

1 of 10
Vehicle Description Must See one owner/current owner! I ordered this Impala SS new in 1996 and with 3,000 miles on the car, had TPIS Specialities of Mpls, MN install a 550 HP performance-built engine- all new including injection system, etc.
Approx $14K was spent on the new engine in 1999, which is about $25,000 in today's dollars!! The original dyno sheet is attached showing power to the wheels.
I still have the complete ORIGINAL motor in storage with 3,000 miles on it.
Computer and emission controls are maintained - the car is a real sleeper! The car is in excellent condition, has never seen snow, and rarely rain.
The car now has 41,000 miles on it and runs/drives like the day it came off the lot- until you hit the gas! On a recent trip last fall from Mpls to Rochester, MN we averaged 21mpg.
Last year the overdrive gear in the original transmission was acting up, so we spent $2,500 at a reputable tranny shop on a complete rebuild, including beefed up enhancements to better handle the extra power.
I am now in my mid-80's and is time to let a new owner enjoy this ride.
The car has always been garaged and never raced.
Asking $34,500 or best offer.
Please, serious inquiries only! Note:
as mentioned rhe car has always been garaged since 1996- the removable dash pad was installed to eliminate glare while driving.
My eyes have become sensitive to sunlight in my later years! The dash is in like-new condition.
